Kuriyama recently introduced the Tigerflex® Tiger Aqua™ Suction and Discharge Hose, the first hose of its kind manufactured with NSF 61 certified material. The Tiger Aqua is designed for use in applications where a high level of purity is required, such as the transfer of potable water for drinking.
In addition to using FDA compliant material, the NSF 61 certification provides an additional level of safety, ensuring the material have been tested to stringent purity standards, and will not impart any unwanted taste or odor to the transferred materials.
Applications for the hose includes the transfer of potable water into remote residential areas, oil and gas field job sites, military installations, as well as serving as a municipal water line repair bypass line.
The hose has also found interest in food and beverage industries where customers are looking for products that will ensure the highest food purity.
